The transport company that pioneered the adoption of HVO100 increases its consumption by almost 105% compared with July 2024
The renowned Spanish logistics operator specialising in national and international full-load road transport, integrated logistics and distribution, LODISNA, continues to take significant steps in its commitment to sustainability by continuing to back alternative and renewable fuels for its vehicle fleet. The Navarra-based company ends the summer with a consumption of 2,344,630 litres of the biofuel, more than double the figure for the same date last year (1.146.780 litros en 2024).
LODISNA, on its journey towards innovative, environmentally responsible logistics, already has much of its fleet refuelling with HV0100, con la cual se han recorrido aproximadamente 8.500.000 kilómetros durante estos meses de 2025. Compared with conventional diesel, this alternative fuel delivers a reduction of at least 85% in emissions of CO2, without affecting the performance and efficiency of the fleet's vehicles. Moreover, this type of fuel not only lowers polluting gas emissions, but also reduces dependence on fossil fuels and helps strengthen energy security, key considerations for the sector in a context of energy crisis and fluctuating oil prices.
According to internal reports, LODISNA expects to close 2025 having used more than 5 millones de litros de HVO100, which means that the Navarran company would end the year having avoided the emission of more than 11.545 toneladas de dióxido de carbono. These figures, added to those of previous years since the first truck was refuelled with this biofuel in 2023, add up to a consumo total en LODISNA de 5.600.000 litros de HVO100 and savings of more than 12.000 toneladas de CO2.
