Three plans, in pounds, published.
Which one you are on is decided by the site, not by haggling. Every plan is per site, per month, and you can cancel any month. There is no setup fee: the health check is free, and any repair the site needs first is quoted separately, once, before a monthly fee starts.
Essential
A brochure or WordPress site up to about ten pages, no checkout. It needs to stay up, stay safe, and change a few times a month.

Business
A site the business actually runs on - up to about thirty pages, enquiry forms, bookings or a small catalogue. When it breaks, the phone stops ringing.

- Everything in Essential, plus:
- Updates every two weeks, security patches inside 48 hours.
- Daily backups, restore started within 4 working hours - and a real test restore carried out and reported every quarter, so the number above is one you have seen proven.
- Hack response started within 4 working hours, including closing the way in, with a written account of what got through.
- Forms checked fortnightly; broken links swept monthly.
- 3 hours of small changes a month, page-speed numbers in the report, and a direct WhatsApp line instead of a ticket queue.
Store
WooCommerce or Shopify with payments, shipping and VAT rules, up to about three hundred products. An hour of broken checkout costs real money.
£279/ month
- Everything in Business, plus:
- Weekly updates with the checkout tested after every one - a real test order placed before it goes live.
- Backups every 6 hours. Restore started within 2 hours during UK working hours and within 8 hours at any other time, seven days a week.
- Hack response on the same clock, any day, with payment gateway and order data checked before the store reopens.
- A weekly end-to-end test order; shipping, VAT and gateway rules checked monthly.
- 8 hours of small changes a month - unused hours roll over once, capped at four - plus a 30-minute call with a named person who knows your store.
Work outside a plan is £50 an hour, in half-hour increments, quoted and approved before it starts - never added to an invoice afterwards. Our prices are what you pay; where we quote another provider below, their "+VAT" is theirs, and how VAT falls on your business is between you and your accountant.
How that compares, with the sources
Checked on UK providers’ own published pages in September 2026. Where a plan hides its price behind a form, it is not listed.
- The cheap end is real, and thin. Web-Tastic publishes care plans "from £15/month" - monthly updates, daily backups, a report. No included edit time, no stated restore time. We are not competing there and will not pretend to.
- WP Care Pros: £49, £149 and £379 a month, all +VAT - so £58.80, £178.80 and £454.80 in practice. Their £49 includes no development hours; their £149 includes four hours a quarter, which is about eighty minutes a month.
- Xinc Digital: £50, £95 and £165 a month - but those include managed hosting, which ours do not. Their support time is nil, one hour and two hours a month respectively, with a two-working-day email response on the entry plan.
- Read as an hourly rate, our ladder is £69, £46 and £35 an hour with all the monitoring on top - below the going rate for a UK WordPress developer, which is the whole point of hiring a studio in Lahore.
What is not included
Published here because it is the question most providers will not answer in writing.
- Hosting, domains, SSL certificates and paid plugin or theme licences. You buy those, in your name, and we manage them. Some UK plans bundle hosting and look cheaper for it - check whether you are also buying a host you did not choose.
- New pages, redesigns and new features. Quoted separately - a care plan keeps what you have working.
- Content writing, photography, SEO campaigns and ads.
- Bulk product data entry beyond the hours included in your plan.
- Recovering a site that had no backups before we started. That is a repair job, quoted first - we will not take a monthly fee and hope.
| The time zone question
Lahore is four hours ahead of you. That is closer than it sounds.
Every UK business asks this, so it is answered here rather than buried in an FAQ. Lahore is PKT, which is UTC+5 - four hours ahead of British Summer Time, five ahead in winter.
- Your whole working day is inside ours. Nine in the morning in London is one in the afternoon here. Five in the evening in London is nine at night here. There is no part of a normal UK working day when nobody is at a desk - which is not something a studio in Asia can usually say.
- Routine work happens before you start. Updates, backups, scans and speed checks run on our morning, which is the middle of your night. You open the laptop to a site that was already maintained.
- Urgent means urgent. Uptime is monitored around the clock. A site that falls over at 3am UK time is picked up here at 7am, in the middle of our day.
- The honest limit. After about six in the evening UK time we are finishing, not starting. If your business needs somebody picking up the phone at nine at night, we are the wrong studio and we will say so rather than take the money.

Questions before starting.
How much does WordPress support cost in the UK?
Ours is £69 a month for a brochure site, £139 for a site the business runs on, and £279 for a store - per site, cancel any month, published above rather than hidden behind a form. Across UK providers the range runs from about £15 a month for a thin plan with no included edit time, through £49-£50 for the common entry plans, to £379 plus VAT at the top. What separates them is not the number but what happens when something breaks.
Do you support sites you did not build?
Yes, and most of what we look after we did not build. We start with a free health check, fix anything urgent, then take over the regular work. If a site is beyond sensible maintenance we say so rather than take a monthly fee for it.
How fast do you respond if the site goes down?
Uptime is monitored around the clock, so we usually know before you do. Because Lahore is four hours ahead of the UK, a failure at three in the morning your time lands at seven in the morning ours - the start of our working day rather than the middle of our night. For anything you report yourself, Business and Store plans carry a four-hour and two-hour clock for restores; on Essential it is one working day.
Is a cheap WordPress care plan worth it?
It depends entirely on what is in it. Plans start around £15 a month in the UK and we will not pretend to beat that. What we will say is that our £69 plan includes an hour of changes, tests updates on a copy first, restores backups rather than assuming they work, and cleans up a hack without an hourly bill on top - and that the £15 and £49 plans we checked include no edit time at all. Ask any provider when they last restored one of your backups; the answer sorts the plans faster than the price does.
Do your prices include VAT?
There is no VAT added to our invoices - we are a studio in Lahore, not a UK VAT-registered business. How that lands on your own books depends on whether you are VAT registered, because buying services from outside the UK is handled under the reverse charge. Your accountant will tell you in a sentence. We mention it only because several UK plans are advertised at a price that is 20% higher once VAT is on it, and comparing the two without noticing that is an easy mistake.
Can I cancel?
Any month. Every account is in your name, and the documentation goes with you. We would rather you stayed because the work is good than because leaving is painful.
